International Health Partnerships
The spirit of partnership between CNA and the nursing associations of the developing countries often extends beyond the funding of a project. While there are nine (9) current projects, more than 30 countries have been helped since 1970. Active relationships are maintained with many past partners and encouraged among partner countries.

CNA members get involved in a variety of ways:
- Providing expertise to CNA's department of International Policy and Development and directly to overseas projects
- Participating in CNA events on international health and development
- Supporting the international activities of Canadian nurses
Projects are currently funded by the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA), but we have also collaborated in previous years with the Canadian Public Health Association (CPHA)
