- Almost one in three children with disabilities lives in poverty.
- Youth have the highest unemployment rate of any age group and are most likely to work in low wage jobs.
- High school dropout rates in Canada are close to 30%.
- More than half of recent immigrant children live in poverty.
- Many recent immigrant workers are in low-wage jobs without benefits, even though today’s immigrants have the highest ever educational credentials.
