A proven success last year in Ottawa, the Canadian Nurses Association (CNA), with support from the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA), is hosting its second two-day interactive workshop, Influencing Public Policy: Strategies & Tactics. The workshop will be of interest to Canadian nurses who want to advance their skills and understanding of the processes of developing and influencing public policy. Participants will discuss a range of public policy concepts – from “idea” to “legislation” – and will leave equipped with practical tips and workable ideas to begin influencing policy agendas.

The workshop is limited to 60 participants who will enjoy two days of intensive work time with two of Canada’s most experienced and best-known nursing leaders.
