Initial Certification
Continuous Learning Guidelines
Initial certification: If you are an occupational health or enterostomal therapy nurse seeking initial certification, you need to have accumulated a total of 75 hours of continuous learning (CL) activities.
Certification renewal: To renew your certification credential, you need to earn a total of 100 CL hours related to your nursing specialty/area of practice during your five-year certification term.
