Hepatitis C Workshop
In the spring of 2003, the CNA completed a two-and-a-half-year project entitled Increasing Awareness and Competencies in Hepatitis C Among Nurses: A Comprehensive, Long-Term Program fully funded by the Hepatitis C Division of Health Canada. The main goal for the project was the publication of Hepatitis C: A Nursing Guide now posted on this web page in English and French.
In addition, the Educate-the-Educator program was developed to disseminate hepatitis C information to nurses. This program was offered nationally at five different sites using specially developed resources. They are now available on this web page. Nurses and other health professionals may access and use the resources to conduct their own programs. Materials include a facilitator manual and MS PowerPoint presentations and scripts. They may be adapted to meet individual community needs with the permission of CNA and the original presenters.
The opinions expressed in these resources do not necessarily reflect the official views of CNA or Health Canada.
