Board Representative

My name is Parisa Jamali. I identify as a cisgender female, and my pronouns are She/Her. I am an international student from Iran, and I will start my third year of nursing in fall 2021 at Ryerson University, Toronto, Ontario. Since childhood, I have been interested in advocative roles and have always wanted to improve people’s quality of life. I am the co-founder of Hamrah Charity at Farzanegan II high school, Tehran, Iran. I was also the co-founder of the FMC-Life project, which designed rehabilitating devices for autistic children, for which I won the RoboCup-IranOpen award in 2016. I started working as International Peer Ambassador in Ryerson University International Student Support since Fall 2020. I have also been the RNAO student ambassador since Fall 2020. As of March 2021, I have been elected as the Safety and Wellness Advocate of CNSA. I will also hold the position of Student Retention Assistant at Ryerson Student Learning Support from September 2021. I am looking forward to being a part of the CNA as a representative of my peers.
