Sheri found her calling as a nurse after an early-career stint as a journalist. Her direct care experience encompasses critical care, occupational health, ambulatory care, and long-term care. She has also had the pleasure of contributing her nursing lens to roles in research, education, policy, and administration. Currently, she is a faculty member at the Dalhousie University School of Nursing.
Sheri is a founding member of the Nurses’ Association of Nova Scotia, a network of RNs, LPNs, and NPs who strongly believe that Nova Scotia needs a unified, professional nursing voice to advance our profession and positively impact health care locally, provincially, nationally and internationally. This group is working with other provincial partners and CNA to formalize and amplify Nova Scotia’s nursing voice.
