The Nursing History Collection

The Canadian Nurses Foundation, in connection with CNA, has developed a new fundraising campaign to support the Canadian Nursing History Collection. Lighting the Lamp proceeds will assist with the first stage of cataloguing and treating the collection now underway.

In 2000, CNA signed a historic agreement with the Canadian Museum of Civilization, the Canadian War Museum and the National Archives of Canada to establish a national nursing history collection. Materials originally held at CNA House form the core collection, which will be expanded over time to include items of historical significance from across Canada.
