Independent members receive voting rights
There are over 1,000 independent members (Class D) in Quebec and Ontario! This means independent members, as a group, had five votes (one in Quebec and four in Ontario) at CNA’s 2017 annual meeting of members in Ottawa on June 21.
For more information please visit our voting rights section.
Professional liability protection
RNs and NPs can apply to become a Canadian Nurses Protective Society (CNPS) beneficiary when joining or renewing with CNA — all in one transaction.
