Elaine Warren is a passionate, energetic nurse who has over 35 years progressive leadership experience in health care. She is currently Vice President, Clinical Services, Eastern Health, NL. In this role she provides leadership for integrated professional practice, research and a number of clinical programs. Elaine has both Bachelor and Master’s degrees in Nursing from Memorial University, NL. She has completed a Fellowship in the Executive Training for Research Application Program (EXTRA), Canadian Health Services Research Foundation and also post-graduate programs in Critical Care, nursing management and health-services management. Throughout her career Elaine has championed nursing excellence and implementation of evidenced based practice. She is a passionate nursing leader who embraces client centered care and was recently awarded the CEO Award of Excellence – for Mentoring leaders. She has also served on a number of provincial and national committees and volunteered with various provincial organizations and boards. Elaine is the current President and has been a Board of Director member with the Association of Registered Nurses of Newfoundland and Labrador (ARNNL) since 2012 and a member of a number of ARNNL'S committees.
