Quality and Safety in Patient Care

CNA and the Canadian Federation of Nurses Unions — with the support of the Academy of Canadian Executive Nurses, Accreditation Canada, the Canadian Patient Safety Institute, and with funding from Health Canada — hosted a roundtable to determine ways to build on the culture of quality and safety in the Canadian health-care system. The resulting summary [PDF, 335.6 KB] identifies four objectives and priorities that would help form an overall action plan.
