CNA members will elect a new president-elect at the June 2024 annual meeting of members. The elected nurse leader will serve in this role for two years (2024-2026) before becoming CNA’s president for the following two-year term (2026-2028).
As outlined in the by-laws, it is desired that the three elected officers (president, president-elect and vice president) each represent one of the four regulated nursing designations: registered psychiatric nurse, nurse practitioner, licensed practical nurse, and registered nurse.
Electing the leadership of CNA is one of the most important responsibilities of membership because that individual represents you, our members. If you meet the eligibility criteria for president-elect and, can fulfil the roles of the position, and advance to the office of president, please submit a nomination by the extended deadline of February 27, 2024.
