From stories and discovery to action!

After hosting the highly popular First National Summit on Racism in Nursing and Health Care in 2021, CNA is pleased to welcome the world of nursing and health care to our second summit in November 2022. This second summit provides an opportunity for nurses and nursing organizations to report on actions taken since the first summit and their plans going forward. By November CNA will be able to report the results of important research and other initiatives underway to tackle racism and discrimination in nursing and affecting nurses. During the second half of the Summit, join us for a special session to hear the thinking of esteemed journalist, activist and author, Desmond Cole, who will then join a panel discussion including CIHR Lisa Bourque-Bearskin and others to be confirmed. Join colleagues from across Canada and internationally as we continue to take leadership to tackle these historic injustices and build a better world.

To register for this event, you must join CNA or sign in. Once signed in, a Register Now button will appear with the event description.
