Co-hosts Amie and Sara are experienced nurses, former co-workers, and friends. Together they tackle hot topics related to nursing and health care, with grit! They will provide a public presentation during National Nursing Week followed by an interactive Q&A session. Amie has co-moderated and facilitated many discussions in Advancing Health Equity. She brings communities together through “courageous conversations” on anti-racism and anti-black racism in health care. Sara is passionate about issues such as bullying and incivility, anti-Asian racism, diversity and inclusion, and helping nurses find their career paths in a profession with so many opportunities!
