Bibliographies

Bibliographies

For each exam, we have put together a detailed bibliography of resources, references and books to help you prepare.

The list includes bolded references, which are “key books” that will help you prepare for the certification exam. These books have been selected by the certified nurse members who create each exam as part of their work on specialty examination committees. Should a newer edition be available, please use the most recent version.

If you are unsure which books you need, you may want to consult a CNA mentor in your specialty.

The bibliographies CNA supplies are relevant but not all-inclusive. Feel free to use the references you are most comfortable with.

You can access a selection of e-book resources to complement your studies on MyCNA.
